Amphitheater at Tom Triplett Park

Chatham County is building an amphitheater!

Chatham County is designing, installing, and operating its first outdoor amphitheater scheduled to open in 2023. It is early in the design process, but the amphitheater and surrounding area are expected to have a parking capacity of 300, with an additional 200 nearby, and an audience capacity of 900-1,500.

To assist in the process, the Arts and Culture Alliance of Chatham County hosted an online Roundtable Discussion.  It was an opportunity to hear from you, the arts and culture community that would consider using the facility. This Roundtable Discussion is in partnership with Georgians for the Arts.

Tom Triplett Park Amphitheater Project

The mission of Chatham County Government is to protect and serve the public and provide essential services to its citizens.

Chatham County Parks and Recreation Department fulfills this stated goal by providing exceptional parks, facilities, programs, and services that improve the quality of life for all of the citizens and visitors of Chatham.

An amphitheater built at Tom Triplett Park would accentuate and provide a more cultural venue of theatrical activities that would welcome entertainment.

The amphitheater would be a great place, on the Westside of Chatham County for outdoor concerts, theatre productions, comedy shows, art shows, and more.

The amphitheater will be located in the Southwest part of Tom Triplett Park at 100 Tom Triplett Road Pooler, GA 31322.

An amphitheater is a part of Chatham County’s Master Recreation Plan.
